Thammasat University Rally

Up to 30,000 protestors took to Thammasat University’s Tha Prachan Campus. Crowds remained enthusiastic through the rain and the crowd eventually moved to Sanam Luang directly in front of the Grand Palace. Large groups of police officers and water trucks surrounded the Grand Palace. Music and speeches were given well into the night. The protest ended Sunday morning with a list of demands being handed to officials. A plaque was installed at Sanam Luang to declare the people’s power.
