September 28, 2020

Hundreds of students gathered at the famous Three Kings Monument in Chiang Mai. The event was organized by a local pro-democratic protest group known as The Wilar Party. The group mainly consists of CMU students and other volunteers. Music and speeches were given from 4pm until just after dark. A ceremonial mock plaque was placed at the monument’s feet in reference to the plaque that was placed earlier this month in front of the Grand Palace in Bangkok known as Sanam Luang.
